Mark Collier

Mark Collier is an experienced IT Project Manager at Northern since April 2021, where responsibilities include the controlled planning and execution of information systems projects aligned with company goals. Prior to this role, Mark served as a Strategic Planning Manager at Northern, focusing on enhancing the company's position as a partner of choice for the North. In a secondment role at the Great British Railways Transition Team from March to December 2023, Mark managed projects related to the National Rail Accessibility Strategy and the Accessibility Audit Phase 2. Mark's earlier experience includes working as a Commercial Analyst at Grand Central Rail, where various projects aimed at enhancing customer service were undertaken, and as a Graduate Management Trainee at Arriva Bus (UK) within operations. Mark began a career in business development as a Graduate Trainee at Cumberland Building Society, contributing to projects that improved social media presence and website traffic.
