We are Northern Lights, Durham University’s competitive mixed a cappella group. Having competed in the ICCA since 2015, our 13th generation defended their fourth win at the UK Finals in Wimbledon, not only making us 7-time National Champions, but making history as the first group since the competition's inception to qualify for the international finals 4 times consecutively. 
Our 12th generation also made history as the first ever mixed UK group to place at the ICCA world finals, coming third. 
Beyond competitions, we record music, perform at gigs across the country and put on shows from Croatia to Edinburgh Fringe. Now in our 13th generation with 4 incredible new members, we feel as strong as ever, and are proud to maintain our ethos “One entity, One voice”.
