Robert Wang

Robert Wang is a seasoned professional in cyber security and IT risk management, currently serving as Sr. Lead Cyber Security & IT Risk Management at Northern Trust Corporation since July 2017, where previous roles included IT Audit Manager, Senior IT Auditor, and IT Auditor. With earlier experience at Hyatt Hotels Corporation as Senior IT Auditor, Robert led global SOX and SOC1 IT general control testing, focusing on application controls. In a prior role at DISA, contributions as an Electronics Engineer involved developing a secure web-conference portal for the Department of Defense, creating testing procedures, and communicating feedback for product improvement. Robert holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Purdue University Northwest, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Information Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
