Stephen Longo

Before turning to entrepreneurship, Stephen was a software architect with over 25 years of experience in software development and design, focusing on data management and analytics within the commodity and energy industry.

As CTO of NorthGravity, Steve sets the company's technical direction, products, and culture. He's passionate about helping companies get more value and insight from their data. Before NorthGravity, he was the Director of Client Software and Development for the Morningstar Commodity and Energy group. He spent the last eight years building their first cloud-based SaaS solution.

Stephen studied Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin and holds a US patent on a Derivative Trading Strategy Backtesting application.
