Daniel Pierce

Daniel Pierce, PhD, is a highly motivated scientist with a robust background in environmental, biological, and physical sciences. They earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where their research focused on developing novel spectroscopic techniques for onsite testing. Daniel has held various roles, including a Principal Sustaining Photolithography Engineer at Northrop Grumman and has experience in quality assurance and laboratory work at Prometic Bioproduction Inc. Their commitment to teaching and mentoring is reflected in their recognition as Best TA in 2024, while their leadership in environmental science is demonstrated through their role as a Senior Environmental Scientist at Air, Land & Water Engineering.
