Daniel Wu

Daniel Wu is a Principal Structural Engineer in the Dynamics group at Northrop Grumman, specializing in aerospace engineering with over 8 years of experience. Previously, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Marvin Engineering, developing off-road combat vehicles that won a U.S. Army contract, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, where they created an efficient rim-driven propeller prototype. Daniel's prior roles also include a Mechanical Engineer II position at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and a Structural Engineer at Boeing, where they led significant structural integrity analyses and delivered results with impactful cost savings. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and has dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from San Jose State University.
