John Ferrel

John Ferrel is a self-driven Hardware Lead Engineer currently serving as a Senior Principle Electrical Engineer at Northrop Grumman, focusing on smart missile and ammunition projects. Previously, they worked at Intel Corporation in various roles, including Technical Lead in Processor Platform Validation, where they developed and executed platform-based manufacturing tests for multiple generations of processors while mentoring junior engineers and technicians. John has also held positions that involved managing validation lab readiness, developing automation solutions, and performing detailed testing of silicon components. They have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri College of Engineering, where they were a founding member and President of the SunTiger Solar Car team. Before pursuing their education, John served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne-qualified Radar Repair Technician.
