Mark Thomas

Mark Thomas is a Joints & Seals and Secondary Structures Analysis Subject Matter Expert at Northrop Grumman, where they have developed significant expertise in mechanical design, analysis, and project management within rocket motors and space systems. From 1995 to 1997, Mark worked as a Research Assistant at Utah State University, focusing on cryogenic tank designs and studying Solar Thermal Propulsion concepts. They have led multi-year projects, including the development of a new rubber O-ring material, and have excelled in Finite Element Analyses of various components. Mark's strong communication skills and outstanding work ethic have earned them multiple nominations for the RNASA Stellar Awards and various recognitions from Orbital/ATK. They hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Utah State University.
