Ae Chon

Ae Chon has a long history of software development experience. In 2003, they began working as a Software Developer for SAIC. In 2009, they moved to Northstrat Incorporated, where they worked as a Software Developer. During this time, they wrote backend code supporting Microservice architecture using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Kafka, Redis, and REST services. Ae also created specification files for Docker to run individual Microservices within a Docker container deployed to Kubernetes cluster. Additionally, they developed a light weight file manager and data importing tool that can import data from varies media types using Python and Python XML RPC server.

Ae Chon earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics with Concentration in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech between 1992 and 1996. In 2007, they obtained a Sun Certified Programmer from Sun Microsystems. In 2014, they obtained a Security + from CompTIA. In March 2022, they obtained an Apache Spark Essential Training from LinkedIn.
