Daniel Jarl

Daniel Jarl has had an extensive career in the aerospace industry and the military. Daniel began their career in 1999 as a Marine Officer in the United States Marine Corps. During their time in the Marines, they held various roles such as Detachment Commander, Brigade Platoon Commander, Air Officer, F/A-18D Weapons Systems Officer, and Operations Officer. In 2009, they joined General Atomics Aeronautical Systems as an Aerospace Engineer and was responsible for leading a team of engineers, programmers, safety specialists, and technicians to develop a Ground Control Station (GCS). In 2015, they joined Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation as a Senior Engineer, Deputy Chief Engineer, and Mission Systems and Ground Segment Lead. In 2017, they attended the National War College as a Graduate Student. In 2018, they rejoined the United States Marine Corps as Deputy Group Commander, MAG-41 and Strategic Planner. In 2020, they joined Open Systems Technologies Corporation as Principal Aerospace Systems Engineer and Applied Insight LLC as UAS Technology Manager for the United States Customs and Border Protection. Daniel is currently employed at Northstrat Incorporated as MBSE Lab Chief Engineer.

Daniel Jarl has an extensive educational background. Daniel earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 1994 and 1999. In 2010, they obtained a Master's Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. Daniel then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2014 and 2016. In 2019, they began pursuing a Master of Arts - MA in Finance from Harvard Extension School, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their educational background, Daniel Jarl has obtained three certifications: an OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional from OMG in 2015, a Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute in 2010, and a Commercial Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration - FAA.
