Thomas Scott

Thomas Scott has a diverse work experience in the field of system engineering and analysis. Thomas is currently working as a Senior System Engineer at Northstrat Incorporated since August 2018. Prior to this, they served as a System Engineer - Tech Lead at Raytheon from June 2016 to July 2018. Before joining Raytheon, Thomas worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Scitor Corporation from June 2015 to July 2016 and at NJVC-LLC from December 2013 to June 2015. Thomas also has a significant tenure at BAE Systems, where they held multiple roles, including Principle Engineer from February 2012 to December 2013, Senior Systems Engineer from June 2011 to July 2012, and Firewall Engineer/Sr. Systems Administrator from September 2005 to June 2011. Thomas began their career as an Analyst 2 at ANSER from January 2004 to September 2005. Prior to that, they worked as a Computer Systems Technologist at Raytheon UTD from February 2003 to December 2003.

Thomas Scott attended Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business from 1995 to 1998, where they studied Business. Thomas later pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management/Computer Information Systems from Park University from 1999 to 2002. Alongside their formal education, Thomas Scott acquired several certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council. In 2011, they earned the ITIL v3 Foundations certification from Loyalist Exam Services. Moreover, in 2016, they became a Safe Agilist after completing the certification program offered by Scaled Agile, Inc. Lastly, in 2010, they obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA.
