John Welle is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background in software development and engineering. As CTO and VP Technology at Voddler Group from July 2015 to June 2016, John was instrumental in developing and modernizing the company's patented P2P video delivery solution, Vnet. Prior to Voddler, John served as Lead Developer at Interactive Solutions AB from September 2011 to August 2014, contributing to projects such as Goldbet Live Betting and Goldbet TV. John founded and managed Mets Poker from June 2006 to June 2010, overseeing the development and design of the online gambling portal. Following this, John held the position of Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Gears of Leo from June 2016 to July 2018, focusing on sportsbook offerings. Currently, John is employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Northvolt, dedicated to advancing electrification and renewable energy storage, with an emphasis on achieving a carbon-neutral society. In June 2024, John will transition to the role of Teknisk chef at Northvolt.
