Sofie Nykvist

Sofie Nykvist is a seasoned professional in engineering and management, currently serving as Senior Manager for Packaging and Logistics at Northvolt since August 2020, leading a team focused on material handling solutions in the battery Giga-factory. Prior to Northvolt, Sofie Nykvist held several key positions at Scania Group from January 2013 to August 2020, including Head of Product Introductions and E-mobility Projects, where responsibilities encompassed the design and implementation of new production processes for electrified gearboxes. Additional roles at Scania included Head of Industrial Engineering and Project Manager, with a strong focus on improving production processes and logistics. Sofie Nykvist's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Product and Process Development from Mälardalen University, complemented by international studies at The University of Western Australia and Brenau University.
