Thérése Östergren is a Technical Team Lead and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Northvolt, where they have been working since 2018. Previously, they served as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Volvo Trucks from 2016 to 2018, and at Scania from 2014 to 2016, focusing on component design and collaboration across various teams. Thérése completed a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Luleå tekniska universitet in 2014 and conducted a master’s thesis project at Liko AB, where they designed a four-point cross sling bar that has been filed for a patent. They also gained early experience as a Design Consultant at Alten Sweden and AB Centek, contributing to various design projects.
