Michael Murphy is currently the Assistant General Counsel at Northwestern Mutual, where they provide legal expertise in the asset management industry. With several years of in-house experience advising on registered investment products, Michael has also represented various corporate entities. Prior to their current role, Michael served as Senior Counsel at both BMO Financial Group and Invesco Ltd., and held associate positions at Chapman and Cutler LLP and Vedder Price, P.C. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University Bloomington.
