Derek Lang

Derek Lang is an experienced IT professional with over 20 years in the field. Currently serving as a Network Technician at Norwin School District since March 2007, Derek has demonstrated leadership and expertise in supporting Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 7 and 8. Previous roles include Level 1 and 2 Support for TEKsystems at the former Sony plant, where technical support was provided to over 1,000 users and PCs, as well as Network Administrator for Financial Dimensions, managing servers and troubleshooting various Windows environments. Derek holds an Associate’s degree in software programming from ITT Technical Institute and possesses a diverse background that also includes promotional team leadership and culinary training.
