João Horta (大龙) is an experienced Senior Network Architect at NOS SGPS since October 2013, focusing on 5G technology, network transformation, and optimization through SDN/NFV. In addition, João serves as King of Product at Lunar, delivering scalable Cloud PC solutions. With a background in martial arts, João is the Chief Instructor for the Chin Woo Portuguese Chapter, holding a Sigung Level and having established several Kung Fu schools in Portugal. Previous roles include Co-Founder and CTO of CARmeetic, Founder of SuperAlgarve.Com, and Senior Project Manager at SonaeCom, alongside earlier engineering positions at Optimus and Siemens, accumulating extensive expertise in networking and telecommunications. João holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from thePower and post-graduations from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Instituto Superior Técnico. Current interests include advancements towards 6G, SDN, and Open RAN technologies.
