Joao Serra

Joao Serra serves as the Embedded Systems Engineering Manager at NOS SGPS since August 2016, specializing in Embedded Linux and Yocto. Previously, Joao held the position of TV Applications Development Team Leader at Portugal Telecom from April 2012 to August 2016, overseeing the SAPO Interactive TV Team responsible for applications and interactive services on the MEO TV platform across IPTV, DTH, and Smart TVs. Joao's earlier experience includes working as a Software Developer at InnoWave, focusing on interactive TV applications and developing an Android app for video streaming. Joao has pursued executive education programs at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, enhancing management skills and strategic leadership.
