Orestis Markou

Orestis Markou is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as CTO at Nosco since May 2018, Orestis has a strong background in developing multitouch and audiovisual interactive applications for museums, along with back-end software systems. Prior to Nosco, Orestis worked at EDM Studio Inc. from March 2009 to April 2018, where responsibilities included designing applications for both Apple and web platforms. Early career experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Resolver Systems, contributing to the development of Resolver One, and as a software developer at the University of Patras, where Orestis advanced from a Junior Web Developer to managing significant long-term projects. Orestis holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Patras, completed in 2007.
