Ben Richter

Ben was born and raised in Lafayette, IN, where both of his parents worked in the disability services industry. This had a profound effect on his understanding of people with different needs and abilities. From developing friendships with the people his parents helped to serve or volunteering at the annual Christmas party for individuals served, Ben spent his formative years steeped in the world of disability services.

Ben began his work with remote supports straight out of college. Having graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Philosophy, he joined Rest Assured in 2018 as an Assistant Technician. He worked his way up to Communications coordinator, developing a strong understanding of remote supports, the intersection of tech and human services, and government relations. Aside from a strong knowledge of disability technology, Ben excels at business process development, graphic design, business to business communication, and marketing.

Ben is thrilled to have the opportunity to apply these skills for Night Owl, helping to promote and expand their remote supports services across the country.

Ben currently resides in Indianapolis, IN. Where, in his free time, he likes to read, watch baseball, and spend time with his family.
