Jerlan Alves is a seasoned professional in project management, social mobilization, and political advocacy, primarily focused on human rights and social justice. Jerlan co-founded Minha Jampa and served as its Executive Director, where they led numerous impactful campaigns and initiatives, such as stopping a multimillion-dollar project and promoting transparency in local governance. Currently, Jerlan works as a Senior Projects and Campaigns Manager at NOSSAS, where they manage vital grassroots projects and collaborations across Brazil, while also mentoring emerging leaders in civic engagement. Jerlan holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal da Paraíba and has participated in a sandwich program at Sapienza Università di Roma.
