Bob de Vos

Bob de Vos has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Bob currently works as a Lead AI and Software at Nostics since May 2022. Previously, they served as an Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher at Amsterdam UMC from September 2019 to May 2022. Bob also co-founded Quantib U and held the role of AI lead from January 2019 to March 2022. Earlier in their career, Bob worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist and PHD Candidate at UMC Utrecht from July 2018 to September 2019 and from July 2013 to June 2018, respectively. Bob also worked as a Project Advisor at Agentschap NL from January 2013 to July 2013. Bob gained experience as a Development Engineer at Philips and as a Website Manager/Developer at Lambert Instruments. Additionally, they interned at Lambert Instruments and served as a Nestorsupport and Teaching Assistant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Bob started their career at KPN and SNT, where they worked as an Agent and Coach, gaining experience in call center operations, outbound and inbound customer service.

Bob de Vos began their education at Ommelander College from 1994 to 2001, where they studied VWO N&T, N&G. Bob then attended the University of Groningen from 2005 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Life Science And Technology. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Groningen from 2010 to 2012. Bob further continued their education at Utrecht University, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Artificial Intelligence from 2013 to 2018.
