Eva Rennen has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. In 2010, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Heineken International in Africa and the Middle East. From 2011 to 2011, they were a Creative Researcher at Waag Society, where they worked on developing a book and toolkit to inspire employees in their daily work practice. Additionally, Eva co-edited a publication on research and development at Waag Society. In 2012, they founded MELT Icepops, an innovative ice pop company that utilized 3D printing and grew the team. Eva then worked at StartupAmsterdam in 2016, where they contributed to their vision and action program to accelerate the startup scene in Amsterdam. In 2018, Eva joined VSPARTICLE as part of the Sustainable Strategy & Development team. From 2015 to the present, they have been the Founder of RunFallFly, focusing on idea generation, development, design, and prototyping of innovative products and businesses. In 2020, Eva became the Co-Founder and COO of Nostics, and they are currently a FutureMaker at FutureWomenX, a global tribe dedicated to driving transformative change for women.
Eva Rennen has a diverse education history. In 2006, they completed a Foundation Course in Arts and Visual Communication, with a focus on Graphic Design, at the University for the Creative Arts. From 2007 to 2011, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Concept and Product Development at Saxion University of Applied Sciences. During this time, in 2008 and 2009, they also completed a Minor in "'Futures' Imagining Tomorrow's World" at the University of Twente.
In 2011, Eva enrolled in Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where they pursued a pre-master's degree in Sociology until 2012. Following this, they continued their educational journey at the University of Amsterdam, obtaining a Master's degree in Sociology from 2012 to 2014.
Eva later expanded their knowledge in the field of environmental sustainability. In 2017, they completed an Expert track of the UN Environment MOOC on Marine Litter/Plastic Pollution at Open Universiteit. During the same year, they also took part in the CircularX: Circular Economy MOOC offered by Delft University of Technology. In fact, Eva earned a certification in Circular Economy from Delft University of Technology in September 2017.
Lastly, in 2018, Eva engaged in a short-term course at Leiden University, specifically a MOOC focusing on "A Circular Economy of Metals: Towards a Sustainable Societal Metabolism."
