Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Michael is currently working at Nostra as a Commercial Director, where they have been since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer at Nostra from December 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining Nostra, Michael worked at Viatris as a Finance Director for the Baldoyle OSD division from May 2022 to November 2022.

From 2012 to 2021, Michael worked at Jazz Pharmaceuticals in different finance roles. Michael started as a Senior Manager and worked their way up to Senior Director, Finance - Strategy, Risk & Portfolio Analytics. During their time at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, they were responsible for designing and implementing an Enterprise Risk Management framework, managing the group insurance program, and leading finance-related expansion projects.

Prior to Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Michael worked at Azur Pharma as a Manager, Corporate Development, where they conducted partner research and due diligence activities. Michael also worked as a Financial Accountant.

At the beginning of their career, Michael worked at Ernst & Young as an Audit Senior in the Industrial, Commercial & Technology Department from 2006 to 2010.
