Not Forgotten Farm is an equestrian facility located in Eastern Hanover County providing educational content and boarding services. We are convenient to Richmond City, Ashland, Mechanicsville, New Kent and Henrico County and only 15 minutes from I-95, 295, and 64. 

Not Forgotten Farm, LLC is owned by Jodie & William Kavanah. The farm name pays tribute to Will’s military ties, Jodie’s deceased parents who gave her the horse foundation, and the forgotten horses- typically, the OTTB or difficult horse. 

Our mission is to help you “get better with horses®”. We leave our mission open to your own interpretation based on your goals individually and with your horse. Jodie has a diverse background with horses and held a corporate position for over 10 years. William balances the equation with his research and data driven mindset and joining the horse world later in life. Both Jodie and William have unique professional experiences that allow them to take unbiased opinions and recognize patterns which is important when speaking on different topics in the horse industry. Their combined experience allows them to speak not only to the training and care of horses, but also to the business, ethics, and everyday realities of the industry. Their goal: to share honest, useful insights to help others Get Better With Horses™.
