Head, Financial Services Policy at Notarize

Matt Cameron is the current Head of Financial Services Policy at Notarize. Prior to this, they served as Advisory Board Member at The SPARK Institute, Inc. from August 2021 to July 2022. From July 2021 to July 2022, they were also the Head of Financial Services Policy at Notarize, where they managed the company’s financial services public policy initiatives. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant Director, Stakeholder Management at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from April 2012 to July 2021. In this role, they led the Office of Stakeholder Management which oversaw the Bureau’s relationships with consumer advocacy organizations, members of Congress, intergovernmental and international partners, financial institutions, appointed members of the Bureau’s advisory committees, and other stakeholders. Prior to their work at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Matt Cameron worked as a Congressional Caseworker for the U.S. House of Representatives from July 2008 to April 2012. Before that, they interned in the Finance Department for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton from May 2007 to June 2008.

Matt Cameron has a Master's degree in Political Management from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from California State University Channel Islands.

Matt Cameron reports to Kartik Ramachandran, CFO. They work with Cristin Culver - Head, Communications, Nicole Clark - Regional Head, Notary Ops.
