Bert Amato is a seasoned investor and venture partner with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. Currently, Amato serves as an investor at Auto Hauler Exchange and ProteinQure, while also being a venture partner at Golden Ventures since November 2014. Amato has held the position of director and co-founder at Artworks for Cancer Foundation since June 2016 and has been involved with multiple startups as an angel investor since September 1996. Additional investments include positions at BenchSci, Echoworx, ChefHero, and previously at Wattpad Inc. Amato earned a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours in Engineering from the University of Toronto between 1977 and 1981.
