Solal Afota

Solal Afota has a varied work experience, beginning in 2017 as a Member of the Preparation Olympique Francaise de Mathématiques for Animath. In 2018, they were a Student Researcher at the Center for Cyber Security at New York University Abu Dhabi, where they shadowed a group of masters students under the guidance of Professor Hoda Al Khzaimi, reading papers and producing a final report on crowd GPS security, self-driving cars, and attacks on voice recognition software. In 2020, they attended the Ross Mathematics Program at The Ohio State University and the Stanford Undergraduate Mathematics Camp at Stanford University. Solal is currently a Co-Founder at Notebook Labs and a FTTP Program Participant at Jane Street.

Solal Afota attended The British School Al Khubairat from 2014 to 2021, graduating with a High School Diploma (A-Levels). Solal then went on to pursue a BS Maths and MS Computer Science at Stanford University, which they are currently enrolled in and is expected to complete in 2025.
