Julia Maguire

Julia Maguire has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Julia began their career in 2014 as an Associate Producer at WJAR-TV. In 2015, they joined Nexstar Media Group, Inc. as a Multi-Media Journalist, where they wrote, shot, and edited video for 15+ stories weekly to present on the station's #1 watched 9 p.m. newscast. Julia also ideated and delivered engaging feature content on local and professional athletes and teams, and engaged with client sponsors to create daily content. In 2017, they were promoted to Sports Director, where they developed and executed weekly coverage plans while overseeing a three-person sports department. Julia also produced and anchored four nightly sports segments for the market's #1 watched 10 p.m. newscast. In 2022, they joined Notes Live as the Investor Relations/Public Relations Director.

Julia Maguire completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at Rhode Island College in 2014.
