Michael Tsui

Michael Tsui is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in blockchain and payment infrastructure. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Circle since July 2015, Michael is responsible for the technical roadmap and deliverables for Wallets Engineering, overseeing all blockchain and fiat payments infrastructure and APIs. Key achievements include leading the launch of the USDC Infrastructure, which has achieved a market cap exceeding $300 million. Michael's prior roles at Circle include Senior Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager, where responsibilities encompassed hiring and architecture for core services of Circle Pay and Circle Invest. Michael has also contributed to the tech community as an advisor at Notifi and previously held various engineering positions at Kronos. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
