Duncan Davies

Duncan Davies has over 25 years of experience in finance and corporate management. Duncan began their career in 1995 as a Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they managed the audits of Grainger Trust plc, Home Housing and A&P Appledore. In 1999, they joined Sage as a Financial Analyst, preparing financial accounts for the UK business and carrying out financial due diligence and commercial business reviews. Duncan then moved up to Finance Manager and Financial Controller - Mid Market Division before leaving in 2004. Duncan then joined TSG as Finance Director & Company Secretary and Mergers & Acquisition Manager, where they handled all corporate finance activity within the “buy-and-build” strategy and turnover grew from zero to £35M within five years. In 2014, they founded Davies Woodforth Ltd., specializing in Financial Management and Corporate Finance activities. Most recently, in 2017, they became the CEO of Notify Technology Ltd., leading a team of “safetyrevolutionaries” and working with clients to support them in delivering their Safety, Health, and Environmental strategies.

Duncan Davies obtained a BA in Psychology, English Language, and English Literature from Newcastle University between 1992 and 1995. In 1998, they obtained the ACA certification from ICAEW. Most recently, they obtained certifications in Giving and Receiving Feedback and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in December 2021 and January 2021, respectively.
