David Wang

David Wang is a seasoned legal professional specializing in product and privacy law. Currently serving as Product Counsel at Notion since September 2025, David has previously held various roles at Amplitude from January 2023 to August 2025, including Senior Product and Privacy Counsel and Privacy Counsel. Prior to that, David was employed at YipitData as Product and Privacy Counsel, and at Debevoise & Plimpton as an Associate. David’s career in the legal field began at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP as a Corporate Paralegal, focusing on Intellectual Property and Securities. David holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from New York University. Additionally, David is an alumnus of Bergen County Academies.
