Peter Lu

Peter Lu is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and machine learning applications. Currently at Notion as a Software Engineer since February 2024, Peter previously held the position of Senior Backend Engineer at Skiff, where efforts focused on building an end-to-end encrypted worksuite. Peter founded Coherence and developed a medication reminder chatbot, while research roles at IMMERS Lab and Project Recon involved advanced computer vision and statistical analysis. Additional experience includes contributing to Curai as a Software Engineer and Intern, where notable projects included a chat-integrated ML feedback system and integrating machine learning models into electronic medical records. Peter has also played significant roles in various organizations, such as serving as an organizer for TreeHacks and co-founding Loomable. Educational credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
