Stive Pregent

Stive Pregent is a seasoned scientific professional with extensive experience in research and technology leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Notpla since August 2022, Stive previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Spectants (January 2021 - January 2022) and Team Leader of Surface Modification at Ram Group Holdings (December 2016 - September 2020). Stive's academic background includes a PhD in Biological Physics from The University of Manchester, as well as a Master's in Physical Chemistry of Surfaces, Colloidal Systems, and Composite Fluids from Université de Technologie de Compiègne. Prior roles at Unilever and Uniqema involved significant contributions to the development of biodegradable materials, foams, and hydrogel technologies. Notable research includes work on neuronal and supramolecular assemblies using advanced scattering techniques at Tel Aviv University.
