Barry Cottrell

Barry Cottrell started their work experience in 2005 as a Business Manager Americas at AkzoNobel. Barry then progressed to the role of Business Unit Procurement Director and later Spend Area Director at AkzoNobel. In 2018, they joined Nouryon as the PR Procurement Director. Most recently, Barry Cottrell became the Head of Procurement, Chemicals at Ahlstrom-Munksjö in 2022.

Barry Cottrell completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Southampton in 1980. Barry pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Philosophy degree in Organic Chemistry from the same university in 1983. Later, in 1994, Barry completed an MBA in International Business with an emphasis on procurement partnerships from Henley Business School.
