Chris Fields

Chris Fields has over two decades of experience in operational excellence and maintenance within the chemical and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as an Operational Excellence Expert and in Maintenance & Reliability roles at Nouryon since October 2018, Chris has previously held various positions including Operational Excellence Expert, Plant Manager, and Production Supervisor at AkzoNobel from January 2008 to October 2018. Prior experience includes shift supervisor roles at National Starch and Chemicals, The Dow Chemical Company, and Union Carbide, beginning in 1995. Chris's career foundation includes service in the United States Marine Corps from July 1990 to July 1994. Educational background includes studies at Central Texas College and Newman Smith High School.
