Erik Rylander

Erik Rylander is a seasoned professional in materials science with extensive experience in technical development and application engineering. Currently employed at Nouryon since November 2019, Erik has held roles including Technical Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, and Application Engineer. Prior experience includes positions at AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals as a Laboratory Engineer, where work focused on the analysis of polymer microspheres, and at the European Patent Office as an Examinor Assistant, dealing with patent examination and reclassification. Erik also contributed a Master Thesis project at ABB Switzerland Ltd. on Pb-free glasses for varistor coating and gained early experience as a Summer Intern at SJ AB and a Researcher at Learning School. Erik holds a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from Luleå University of Technology, along with an exchange year at Clarkson University.
