Prasanta Dutt

Prasanta Dutt has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Prasanta started their career as a Production Manager at Hume Industries in 1982 and worked there until 1989. Prasanta then worked as a Senior Engineer at Esso Production (M) Inc from 1992 to 1997. Following that, they served as a Senior Commercial Analyst at Carigali-Triton Operating Company from 1997 to 1999. Prasanta then joined Akzo Nobel Chemicals in Singapore as a Business Analyst from 1999 to 2003. Prasanta subsequently transitioned to Akzo Nobel / Fort Amanda Specialties, where they held the position of Supply Chain Manager & Finance and IT Manager from 2003 to 2006. Prasanta joined AkzoNobel in 2006 and took up various roles, including SBU Controller from 2006 to 2009, Global Operations & Supply Chain Manager from 2009 to 2011, Vice President & Business Manager from 2011 to 2017, and finally, Procurement Business Partner from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Prasanta is the Head Of Sales, Paints & Coatings, Americas at Nouryon since October 2018.

Prasanta Dutt completed an MBA in International Business from Texas A&M University between 1990 and 1992. Prasanta also studied Chemical Engineering and earned a B.Tech (Hons) degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 1977 to 1982.
