Simone Salz

Simone Salz, BA (CCI), CSCP has a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. Simone currently holds the position of Deputy CPO & Global Director PR at Nouryon, where they have been since January 2022. Prior to their current role, Simone served as Interim Chief Procurement Officer at Nouryon from August 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Nouryon, Simone worked at A. Schulman, Inc., A LyondellBasell Company, where they held the role of Global Procurement Director TS from August 2019 to July 2020. Prior to that, they were the Procurement Director USCAN & EC at A. Schulman, Inc. from February 2017 to August 2019.

Simone's earlier experiences include working as the Head of Procurement Engineered Plastics USCAN at A. Schulman, Inc. from January 2015 to February 2017, and as the Procurement Director Engineered Plastics EMEA at A. Schulman GmbH from January 2011 to December 2014.

Simone started their career at Profine Group in 1991, where they worked as the Manager of Technical and Raw Material Procurement and Controlling. During their tenure there, they successfully optimized sourcing operations and implemented restructuring programs. Simone also played a key role in implementing a procurement controlling tool.

Throughout their career, Simone Salz has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of procurement strategies and supply chain management.

Simone Salz, BA (CCI), CSCP has a Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Logistics from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which was obtained from 1999 to 2000. In addition, Simone holds a certification as a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS, which was obtained in May 2017.
