Chris Edwards has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a COE Technical Support Engineer at National Oilwell Varco since November 1998. In this role, Chris has contributed to the installation and commissioning of power systems and drilling equipment on various offshore rigs. Previous positions at National Oilwell Varco include Electrical Technical Support Engineer, Electrical Installation and Commissioning Engineer, and Electrical Service Engineer, where expertise in NOV drilling equipment and control systems has been demonstrated. Prior to this, Chris worked as an Electrical/Mechanical Process Engineer at Crown Cork & Seal and began a career as an Apprentice Electrical Maintenance Engineer at GlaxoSmithKline. Education includes an NC in Electrical Engineering from Angus College, completed in 1995.
