Chris Torres is a design engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for 3D printing. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2013 and have since held various engineering roles, including SSE Engineer II at TechnipFMC and Design Engineer at National Oilwell Varco. Currently, Chris serves as a Regional Design Engineer at NOV, focusing on drill bits. Additionally, they have experience in additive manufacturing from their role at 3D Metalforge, where they enhanced production efficiency and product lifespan using advanced 3D printing technologies. Chris is also pursuing a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Lean Methods Group since 2017.
