Elena Stepanova has extensive legal experience in the energy sector, serving as Regional Counsel for Russia and CIS at National Oilwell Varco since 2012. Prior to this role, Elena was Head of the Legal Department at Severneftegazprom and held positions as Corporate Counsel for Weatherford and Senior Legal Counsel at SeverEnergia LLC. Elena also worked as Deputy Head of the Legal Department at Leasingstroymash from 1999 to 2005. They earned a law degree from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in 1999.
