Eric Sears is an accomplished engineering manager and technical consultant with extensive experience in the subsea and offshore engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Research and Development Engineering Manager at NOV since May 2019, Eric leads strategic projects and oversees multinational engineering teams on projects valued up to $60 million. Concurrently, Eric is the Director of Sears Consulting Group LLC, focusing on short courses for higher education and project optimization. Eric also lectures on subsea system design at Texas A&M University, contributing to a larger certificate program. Prior experience includes leadership roles at TechnipFMC and FMC Technologies, where managerial responsibilities encompassed program relaunches, team training, and project execution. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management from Oklahoma State University.
