George Smithley is currently the Global Manager of Product Quotations at NOV, where they oversee a team responsible for capital equipment and project proposals in drilling and pressure control equipment. Previously, George held various roles at National Oilwell Varco, including Supervisor of Marketing Services for Land/Offshore Pressure Control and Senior Offshore Quotations Specialist. Earlier in their career, George worked as a Technician in Non-Destructive Evaluation at Metco. They studied at Alvin Community College and the University of Houston from 1992 to 1994.
