Glenn Chalmers

Glenn Chalmers has extensive maritime experience, beginning as an Able Bodied Seaman with Merchant Seaman from 1977 to 1994, focusing on ship maintenance, tank cleaning, blasting, and engine room operations. From June 2007 to January 2021, Glenn worked for Derrick Services Limited as a Rope Access Rigger and Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain, holding qualifications such as LOLER Supervisor, NVQ Moving Loads, and OPITO L4 Rigger. Currently, Glenn is employed as a Rope Access Rigger at NOV since February 2022. Glenn's educational background includes training at the National Sea Training College in Gravesend, Kent, where a Lifeboatman and Efficient Deck Hand degree was obtained in 1977.
