Ian Soukup

Ian Soukup, P.E. has extensive work experience as a mechanical engineer. Ian worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at iFLY Indoor Skydiving since November 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal Mechanical Engineer at National Oilwell Varco starting in June 2017. Ian also worked at National Oilwell Varco as a Mechanical Design Engineer from April 2012 to March 2015. Ian began their career as a Research Engineer at the Center for Electromechanics in January 2005, where they worked until April 2012.

Ian Soukup, P.E. has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, which they obtained between 2000 and 2004. Ian also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, which they completed between 2006 and 2010. In March 2013, Ian obtained their license as a Professional Engineer for the state of Texas from TBPE.
