Jacob Sonne

Jacob Sonne is a Scientific Data Engineer at Novo Nordisk since January 2021. Prior to this role, Jacob served as a Development Engineer at National Oilwell Varco from March 2011 to January 2021, where responsibilities included developing models and software for predicting the annulus environment in flexible pipelines. Jacob's earlier experience includes positions such as Principal Thermodynamic Software Developer at Calsep A/S and various roles related to polymers and material models. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Science from Danmarks Tekniske Universitet, completed in 2006, along with studies at N Zahles Gymnasieskole from 1995 to 1997. Jacob was also a Ph.D. student at both the Technical University of Denmark and the University of Calgary in 2005.
