John Tough

John Tough has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, beginning as a Slickline Operator at Thistle Wireline from April 1990 to June 1994. After serving as a Field Engineer and Sales Representative at Petroleum Engineering Services Ltd until its acquisition by Halliburton, John held the position of Senior Account Representative at Halliburton from September 2000 to September 2005. Transitioning to Petrowell, John worked as a Business Development Manager until May 2012, when the company was purchased by Weatherford. Subsequent roles at Weatherford included Houston Sales Manager and Offshore Sales Manager, before serving as Business Development Manager until December 2018. John worked as Account Manager at Comitt Well Solutions LLC briefly in early 2019 and later as Business Development Manager during a short stint at Frontier Oil Tools. In December 2021, John became Co-Owner of J & A Oilfield Consultant, providing solutions for completion challenges. Most recently, John has been a Technical Sales Account Manager at NOV since October 2023, and served as Technical Sales Advisor at Disruptive Downhole Technologies from January 2022 to September 2023.
