Manolete Mena

Manolete Mena is a skilled Metallurgist and AWS Certified Welding Inspector with extensive experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Currently employed at NOV since June 2022, Manolete previously held the position of Senior Supply Chain Engineer at SpaceX from January 2021 to June 2022. Prior to that, Manolete worked at NOV from July 2014 to January 2021, contributing to a significant reduction of $1.2 million in internal casting rework costs through a zero defect team initiative. Earlier experience includes serving as a Process/Product Engineer and Metallurgist at FS Precision Tech from December 2006 to July 2014, where responsibilities included the development of titanium castings and preparing quotations for new products. Manolete also worked at Miller Castings as a Process/Product Engineer/Metallurgist from October 2009 to October 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of the Philippines.
