Tom Ayre

Tom Ayre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality control and supplier development, currently serving as a Senior Supplier Development Specialist at NOV since December 2007. Ayre’s expertise encompasses conducting supplier audits and technical assessments across multiple countries in Europe, with a strong focus on ISO standards and various manufacturing processes. Prior roles include Senior QC Surveyor at NOV, where responsibilities included quality inspection and oversight of drilling equipment fabrication, and multiple positions in quality control and mechanical assembly at notable companies such as Vinje Industri AS and Aker Brevik Support. Ayre began an apprenticeship in metalworking at Baker Perkins Ltd and holds a degree in Fabrication, Welding & Engineering Technician from Hebburn Technical College.
